Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could
potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without
jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only
those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of
future results

powersave utility

Its important not to be in power save mode in a trading computer or development computer. The reason is min cpu state is set to 5%. This means the cpu is very under clocked in power save mode.
run powerhigh.bat will put you in min cpu state=100%
For a trading computer also make sure min cpu state is 100%
Do not run this util on a trading computer. Development computer only.
Development computer less critical, but if its overclocked power save mode can make big difference in power consumption.
if in doubt check your cpu clock speed using cpu-z
http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/cpu-z_1.79-en.exe
many programs don't trip the cpu to raise the clock speed when cpu activity increases.
powersave.exe looks for higher cpu in any app in its settings.xml file
if the cpu on any process in the settings file is >5%, it runs powerhigh.bat
If cpu is less than 5% for 60 seconds, it runs powerlow.bat
This is freeware.
